Ted Cruz runs for Senate

Press release here. As Texas Solicitor General, Cruz organized the filing of the state AGs and SGs amicus brief supporting Heller.

Yes, this is very good. And the Senator he would replace (Hutchison) is the person who coordinated the congressional brief supporting Heller (and McDonald too, I believe).
Couple terms as Senator, and Mr. Cruz might be ready to run for President.

This will be a blessing on Texas and the Nation. I'm guessing he will get 80+% of the vote.
