Rahm Emanuel back on the ballot

The fix is in! Illinois Supremes rule that you can, indeed, live for years in DC yet remain a Chicago resident, long as you left stuff behind.

The question is, Is the noun resident or the verb reside?

In NM our last governor was never constitutionally our governor. In NM the language says the governor must have resided (verb) for the 5 yrs prior. Richardson didn't meet the requirement either time. Of course, lawyers argue over resident vs reside but that is simply BS. Students can reside in one state but be a resident of another.

What did anyone do when I questioned the point? Nada. Zip. Zilch. Those in power will never do what is right because it might limit them IF their turn ever comes. And judges seem to be the worst at grasping simple English.

With this news I wonder what is the going rate in IL for a favorable Supreme Court decision?

Seems to me that Chicago is about to get the government they deserve...

I went to law school with a BA (English) where the instructors (JD or PhD) all said lawyers had to learn to write using plain English... They spent the next three years trying to undo my ability to write in plain English...

It looks like the voting blocs of everyone's dead mother from Chicago, and Diebold will get their candidate in.

If it isn't rigged, I don't know what to say. If the voters in Chicago elect this libtard, they get what they ask for. The best way to overcome the ruling is not vote for him. Seeing the massive case of Stockholm Syndrome in Chicago from their years of being held hostage by the Daly machine, I would be surprised if they did not vote him in.
