ATF proposed multiple gun sales reports for many long arms

Posted by David Hardy · 17 December 2010 11:25 AM

ATFE has issued a proposed rule that will require reporting of multiple sales of rifles that accept detachable magazines.

Dealers have long been required to report multiple sales of handguns to the same person within five business days of each other, but this is the first attempt to extend it to rifles.

And the ATF has what authority for this? The applicable law (18USC923g3A3) specifies only pistols or revolvers....

"REASONABLE" as all the legal minds like to say.

If you want your Rights, which come from GOD, you must draw your line in the correct place. The feds cannot tax, cannot fine, cannot license, can do nada concerning Arms. There is no "reasonable" in the 2nd.

The feds were told no. Then the courts got into it and lied, and the people got screwed.

Leges posteriores priores contrarias abrogant.

And if one comprehends the Constitution, one finds the police power of the feds limited to three explicit grants, two in Article I, Section 8, and one in Article III, Section 3. Beyond that the feds have absolutely no police/punishment powers under the Constitution. Of course the feds do what they want because there are so many of the Ignorati.

Also, The ONLY part of the feds that can make rules, regs, and laws is Congress. And that power was delegated FROM We the People to Congress. The following says the rest.

Delegata potestas non potest delegari !
