More Guns, Less Crime

Bob Owens points out that in 2009, Americans bought a record 14 million firearms and about 14 billion rounds of ammo -- and violent crime rates fell.

Ergh -- I don't think anyone should be citing that Ammoland.com guy (Bob's source) for any serious purpose.

Ammoland guy created the "14 billion rounds of ammo" figure by assuming gun owners bought 1,000 rounds of ammo per every NICS check. No way in heck. That's typical of the random-*ss claims I've seen cited from that site.

Nah. The decrease is because of THE ONE, the great B.O.

If you don't have 1000 rnds of ammo for every firearm you own, you have failed in your duty as a member of the human race.
