An interesting study, in Chicago magazine.

I wasn't that fond of the language "pandering" when speaking of why counsel chose Otis McDonald to be the lead plaintiff.

"Pander" has overwhelmingly negative (and sexual) connotations, and it just doesn't seem to fit this situation.

At its foundation, the 14th amendment was about ensuring rights of African-Americans, and McDonald is African-American. Seems like a no-brainer to me ... and without pandering.

What kind of firetrucking link is that? I'm way too dumb to figure that out and I sure as fark ain't knowingly sending any money to CHICAGO.

Typical blather by a reporter mostly going by anti-gun propaganda, sadly. Such as the claim that _Miller_ held that only members of a state militia could possess arms... The only statistical data the reporter used was from Ludwig and Cook, ignoring Lott and others who have shown positive benefits to civilian gun ownership.
