Paranoia on the rise

Posted by David Hardy · 25 August 2009 09:52 PM

"Hate on the Rise in United States."

"This next generation of hate incorporates elements of the militias, gun advocates, “nativists” opposed to immigration, tax protesters, and “birthers,” who have questioned the place of birth and citizenship of President Obama.

The alignment of these groups could provide a dangerous mix that is susceptible to violence given the right combination of encouragement and firearms.
.....
The report cites the Fox News Channel’s Glenn Beck and CNN’s Lou Dobbs as two television personalities who have fanned the flames of suspicion and hate on-air.
......
Gun shows are attracting hordes of militia types, with firearm manufacturers and the National Rifle Association (NRA) feeding the demand for guns among right-wing zealots.

Meanwhile, the voices on the right are growing angrier and more pointed by the day, as has been seen in the town hall meetings Members of Congress have hosted to discuss health care reform."

But my favorite line:

"While it would be easy to dismiss the rants of the extreme right as pure paranoia..."

And WE'RE the paranoid ones?

It certainly seems like the report is looking to focus derision and scorn at these people of the hate.

It is no wonder Maggie McQuaid wants US Senator John McCain's help in squashing comparisons between Barack Obama and the Nazi's.

Another shameful attempt by Democrats to tie terrorists with their political opponents in order to silence them. Only bright side is that they've cried wolf so many times the only people who believe this crap are Maddow and Olbermann.

The fact that every time I write things critical of bananahead on my on-business "fun page" I get web hits from State Department, BATFE, and known blocks of IPs that are repeat offenders but cloaked so as to not be able to peg more than their general locale (generally beltway-ish) leads me to believe I'm not paranoid at all when it comes to government surveillance.

What I'm truly worried about is people giving huge chunks of the country to those pukes to run. Once you give government control of things you only get it back with blood, if you ever do.

Yup, I'm paranoid, and racist because the president is a white man with a little bit of African blood in him :-) He sho ain't no brotha. Momma white as a KKK sheet, rich white fambly too!

This isn't a rant and it isn't dismissable by any rational person but who am I to expect rationality from the press?

High Fives all around today, though. They gonna put that peckerhead in the grave! Bye-bye Red Ted the gun grabber moron!

Well when you elected officials calling their constituents brown shirts, and other like names because they disagree with the current administration and they do not care what the people who elected them think, what more can we expect.

My God ...

They lose at the polls, they lose in the legislature, and they lose in the courts.

So now comes the vilification. I hope this hysteria backfires of these fanners of the flames.

The gun shows are actually attracting crowds of plain folk (not "militia types", whatever that stereotype is) who want to examine a wide variety of self-defense weapons, so they can acquire the tools of self-defense before the gun-grabbers try again and again to leave us defenseless.

Well, when your kids don't listen when you talk to them, you might get a little brusque and that sometimes comes off as angry.

militia types is code for plain folk, i.e., those smart enough to see through their foolishness.

Many may not know, but right after the Civil War, the Democrat party's terror wing, the KKK, used to lynch their white political opponents so they could remain in power. And I bet you thought the KKK only lynched former slaves to keep them on the farm.

Terror is something the Democrat party has intimate familiarity with for a long time.

Look it up in any good quality old history book, before the rewrite. Or just think about it for a short time ...

I know people will look at me like I'm nuts, but I think there's another civil war on the way. Mark my words.

It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.

The "flames of suspicion" could easily be dampened by even a little bit of transparency on the part of the Administration, but instead of clarity and light they circle the wagons, go totally opaque, and stonewall.
