The media we remember
Posted by David Hardy · 10 April 2009 02:42 PM
Freedom States Alliance (a/k/a Joyce Foundation astroturf) is joyfully announced that it has the media back in harness.
10 PM tonight, ABC News on the evils of gun shows and why guns are no good in defense against crime (leaving us to wonder why police bother carrying them around).
The webpage also rejoices over how often the media quotes Freedom States Alliance and other Joyce operations (e.g., Legal Community Against Violence).
Hat tip to reader Jack Anderson.

I wanna know where you can buy those t-shirts that hang down to your knees.
I wanna know how the realistic shooter knew which student had the gun and shoot him first and multiple times for effect.
I wanna know why they used shills around the defender instead of other equally in the dark students.
That was propaganda at its best/worst?
The little boy that wants to stop violence in his neighborhood - wasn't that cute. He really thinks banning gun will stop the carnage. He'd have better luck if he could get the crims locked up and out of the neighborhood.
Then there's the brother of the Virgina Tech student that was murdered. He wants to close the gun show loop hole as if that would have mad a diff. His sister was killed by a murderer who got his guns in a gun store after passing the brady back round check.
Maybe John Stossel will rerun the propaganda only with the truth.
