New book on militia

Posted by David Hardy · 24 April 2009 11:13 AM

Robert Churchill, an EXCELLENT historian (we cited him several times in our Heller brief), has out a new book on the militia movements. I put it in the plural because he documents how the recent movement fits into the long term historical context. The title is "To Shake Their Guns in the Tyrant's Face: Libertarian Political Violence and the Origins of the Militia Movement."

UPDATE: Here's the U of Michigan Press description page.

Amazon listing is right here.

Read it in two days when my copy arrived. Well worth reading.

Sounds like a book that Sec. Napolitano might enjoy, ha ha.

I bet she enjoys it near as much as I enjoyed the other "Janet (insert 'C' Word here)" in the early 90s when I was at gunsmith college and people tried to entrap me! Trying to entrap/sell illegal machine guns to a guy keen on African hunting and double rifles was about as sensible as WACO behavior.

Turnabout is fair play!

In case they forgot or lost their address file as far as hassling people, they can pester me at PO Box 1211, Dripping Springs, Texas USA.

This posting brought to you by a freedom loving PATRIOT who has his bank account automagically depleted once a month for both Fincher and Olofson and chipped in on their legal fees.

Remember BATfoo. I'm hiding in PLAIN SIGHT so make sure to bring an "entry team" when you come say "Howdy".

For what it's worth to the lead legal counsel here, that's the address that the Fibber people that lives on Custer Drive in W Virginny write me at so I've got no problems with putting it on the web.

Most times when I go to my post box in town I get a ton of mail and throw most all of it in the paper recycling drum by the sorting counter so I'm not putting myself at any risk.

In case it matters...

I was gifted by genetics to have balls as opposed to work for renegade government agencies and I'm not ashamed of it nor do I do anything illegal.
