I've been watching these guys for years ... if I were to give them the benefit of the doubt, I would say that they are verbally supportive of the right to own firearms -- so long as those firearms are limited to what they consider "hunting" weapons (which is what the 2nd amendment is all about, dontcha know) and fully registered only to people who have gone through a laborious background check. They consider 2nd amendment protected weapons to be: bolt action rifles (caliber limited), pump shotguns.

Anything beyond that is some kind of assault weapon and nothing that a "law abiding" citizen needs. And perhaps it might be best if it were kept stored at a police station or certified gun club when not actual hunting season ...

When this site first came up, it had an article on it defending CCW, but it is long gone.

Of course ... if they get restrictions down to what they want ... something tells me that 2nd amendment protected weapons will be reduced to rocks and slings.

I hope they call me and it's a real human (I'm willing to debate that one) on he other end. Same goes for the NRA folks...who have been silent as of late, normally this time in the campaign they're calling all the time.
