Obama actually supported a gun owner, once
Story here. OK, maybe it wasn't the type of gun owner most of us would care to be around, but it must count for something.

Obama: "The reality of gun ownership may be different for hunters in rural Ohio than for those plagued by gang-violence in Cleveland, but don't tell me we can't uphold the Second Amendment while keeping AK-47s out of the hands of criminals."
Is it me or does this line seem to work better directed at the Brady Campaign than the NRA? I certainly don't think he meant it that way though.
I'm an NRA member, a concealed carry permit holder in Ohio and proud owner of a .45 S&W. This is what the NRA got wrong on Obama and it pisses me off they used my dues to pay for it.
I wonder if William Ayers ever owned a gun. Oops! Better be careful. Might get David's site shut down and sued for bringing that up!
