They plan to rely on the legal "expertise" of the Brady Center! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Let's hope they do!
"Utah is the only state so far to allow weapons at all public universities."
hmmm, i thought that CO and VA allowed it too? rather they allow the schools to decide...
Can't happen soon enough for me, as I work for a major state university in the Lone Star State.
I have a Texas CHL, and carry everywhere else BUT work, because my CHL isn't valid there. I hope when they amend the law they also forbid a university employer from making a gun ban part of employment policy, so that only students with CHLs get to carry. Staff and faculty are impacted, too, especially if we work late/after hours.
"We have our work cut out for us, but I know we can beat the gun lobby in court ... We have common sense on our side. And, with the Brady Center's legal expertise and years of experience, we can and will help defend gun laws that protect you, your family and your community."
"We (you) have our work cut out for us, but I know we (you) can defeat the infidels in battle ... We have our god on our side."
and so on.
