Pro-gun attorneys

Posted by David Hardy · 1 June 2007 01:37 PM

David McCleary, of Michigan, just created a website for his practice.

While I was at it, I thought I'd list some other pro-gun and second amendment attorneys with websites, and who I know have an active practice.

Steve Halbrook, of Virginia.

Chuck Michel of California.

Richard Gardiner is based in VA.

And of course Alan Gura, who with Bob Levy won Parker v. DC, and is handling the appeal.

Jim Jeffreys of NC was a wizard at Title II matters, but I think he's retired. Don Kates is still active, but has no website.

David Goldman, of Jacksonvillle, FL, who emphasizes NFA firearms and has a blog on their legal issues.

Must be others, but they don't readily come to mind. Feel free to add more!

Jesse Cohen (http://www.attorneycohen.com/) and Darius Arbabi (http://www.massgunlaw.com/) in Massachusetts are both good guys.

What about Bruce Clodney? At one time he was associated with CRPA and/or advertised in their newsletter.

Kevin Jamison maintains an active law practice in Missouri, and is an active participant in the grassroots group that has given Missouri shall-issue concealed carry, a Castle Doctrine law and elimination of the (redundant-since-NICS) permit to acquire a handgun, among other firearm-friendly legislation. Definitely one of the good guys. His website is http://www.kljamisonlaw.com/

Seems to me that would be a good list to keep posted and updated somewhere; pro-gun attorneys in the various states and large cities.

FOR NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY

Mr. John S. Chambers, Esquire practices exclusively in the field of second amendment/gun licensing in New York City and I believe he also takes cases from NJ.

John S. Chambers' website is www.nygun.com
or www.pistolpermitattorneynyc.com

New York lawyer Jerold Levine represented me in gun arrest case. He was excellent and got me a good result. His website, thegunlawyer.net, has all the information about his office. He also does gun licensing.

I want to know why the act of disarming 60 - 80 million gun owners is not against national security? A well armed citizenship certainly is in our best interests on a global scale.

• Treason
•
This whole thing of disarming America by taking away the rights of law abiding citizens by any political entity should be considered treason in aiding the enemy.

Arm citizens are a national army worth billions of dollars (not tax payers money). This army is funded by private personal funds. In a national emergency an invading enemy would have to nuts to go up against a dedicated patriotic force of 60 – 80 million gun owners.

It is a sad thing that insane people get their hands on firearms and commit a crime. But in trying to save a few in our population from this threat to sacrifice a nations security in a big way is just plain stupid.

History will tell you that an unarmed citizenship is an invitation for invasion and genocide.

So like I said. Politicians, or groups intent on removing guns from the citizenship should be put up on treason charges.
