Posted by David Hardy · 4 May 2007 02:27 PM

There will be a memorial celebration for Col. Jeff Cooper, May 10, 2007, 1:30 to 5 PM, followed by informal dinner. Location is the NRA Whittington Center at Raton, NM. Here's the memorial and RSVP page.

Here's a page devoted to his books.

Cooper has earned it. One does have to wonder, though, what he would have to say about the NRA's current stance as regard the Va.Tech and similar incidents, doesn't one?

I suspect that he would not feel particularly honored, now. But that's just my opinion. He was a huge supporter of NRA for many years, too bad they broke the faith with him.
