Gotta love this quote from the cops:
Inspector Kevin Keegan, who is in charge of the 1st Police District substation, said Parker might create more problems by having a gun. "The success stories of self-defense are few and far between compared to the accidents and negligence and guns being stolen and ending up in crimes and homicides," he said.
Sheesh.
You beat me to it - I also noticed that quote. Anyone familiar with the writing of Kim du Toit will know what I mean when I say that that line caused the RCOB to descend upon my vision.
Sheesh, indeed. This from your local "law enforcement" officer - gee, thanks alot for your support. Jerk.
Well, I guess they had to write something positive after their initial editorial decrying the decision.
