Mitt Romney--"lifelong hunter."

Well, it might be true in a very narrow sense. He went hunting once at age 15, and a second time last year. Story here.

I wonder if he paid for the lifetime membership or was given it by the NRA. According to my state (georgia) Representive, they offer lifetime memberships for free to elected officials.

The guy is another ZUMBO .... “Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts,” Romney said, at a bill signing ceremony on July 1 with legislators, sportsmen’s groups and gun safety advocates. “These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.”

Flip. Meet Flop.

I become more convinced every day that the GOP intends to throw the 2008 presidential election. After all, if the Dems can throw the 2004 election (and they did) to make sure Hillary was able to run in 2008, why can't the GOP throw one, too?

Romney's no Zumbo - Jim Zumbo realized his mistake and is working to correct it.

John Kerry is reputedly a hunter and a shooter, too.

Agreed, Zumbo is working to repair the damage he caused, which is admirable. We'll see if he keeps it up long term or stops once his income returns.

I should have called Romney, a Fudd .... a hunter who only cares about his hunting rifle and won't stand and fight for the 2nd Amendment otherwise.
