20/20 looking for self defense cases

ABC 20/20 is looking for self defense cases. Via Volokh Conspiracy, which notes that there is no guarantee what type of program will result -- they may be looing for bona fide cases, or hoping to get inarticulate people whose use was questionable, who knows?
Strange. Given the propensity of persons to provide narratives that reflect themselves in a generally positive light, this recruitment would seem oriented towards successful use of guns in self defense. I don't seem many reporting the bad guy took my gun away and beat me with it. Could it be the MSM is . . . nah. Couldn't be.
