VCDL reports that the Virginia Senate Courts of Justice Committee reported out HB 2653, which makes it illegal for private persons to set up "strings" against firearms dealers.

I'm not convinced that that MySpace page really is affiliated with the Brady Campaign. I can't help but wonder if it's run by someone trying to make the Brady Campaign look worse than it already does.

Isn't it already illegal to make private stings given that in order to do them a person must make an illegal straw purchase?

Jacob, it is against Federal law. However it seems so far that the Feds will not go after Bloomberg.

If the state makes it against the law, then the state can punish them instead.

But who are they going to arrest, Bloomberg? I doubt that, though I would love to see it :)
