Another mayor withdraws from Bloomberg group
"I do support the efforts to strengthen laws and prosecute individuals who dispense or use illegal guns, and getting them out of the hands of criminals. However, upon further review of the coalition, it appears they may have a different agenda than I anticipated.
I am concerned the coalition is working on issues that conflict with the beliefs we share in Alaska about legal gun ownership, and I'm also concerned gun ownership advocates are not part of the full discussion within the coalition. We cannot afford to risk protecting our Bill of Rights and the rights of legal gun owners."

He is a Democrat. Anchorage is full of refugees from the lower 48 cities, and they are stupid enough to support the politicians who make those cities what they are.
OK, sure, fine, I suppose it's a good thing the mayor of Anchorage is pulling out of Bloomberg's traveling circus. But how did he get into it in the first place? Did he not know he was dealing with the mayor of NYC? If he himself didn't know, isn't there a single advisor in the mayor's office knowledgable enough to clue him in that NYC is a major gun-control haven? How this coalition didn't just reek BAD IDEA to him.....
