Judge Leslie Lewis goes down

Posted by David Hardy · 8 November 2006 08:49 AM

Over at the Bitchgirls, Bitter notes that Judge Leslie Lewis looks like she lost (i.e., majority voted against retaining her as judge). She's the Utah judge who gave a lecture on the evils of deer hunting, had a spectator who left ordered back into her courtroom, lectured him and when he attempted to reply, in civil tones, had him seized and confined.

amusing comments by all. They heaved the ho. Wish they had done the same out here in People's Republic of California with Feinstein, Boxer, Pelosi and Moonbeam. Depressing.

Now if we could only get some serious prosecutions under 18 USC 242 when these "civil servants" clearly step over the line. Of course, that's just a fantasy.

To whome it may concern,
I want to start by admitting I have quite a criminal record. im not proud of that. I have managed to take care of all my legal obligations however...
and have finely got off probation and have been living my life without anymore run ins with the law for the past 5 years. The thing is -only a few of the crimes on my record were commited by me. The rest are thare becouse of my weakness and stupidity all the times I would exept plea bargains just to get things done and over with in the courts. my worst expeirience was when I was living with my boyfriend at our so called friends house and my boyfriend went to jail for outstanding warrents and then our friend made a pass at me and I told him off so he threw me out his door(legaly my door too at the time)then he ran out the door his self and locked it behind him with my purse and all my belongings inside.so I pushed the airconditioner out of the window and climbed in to get my purse and then proceded to leave at that time an officer arrested be for burglery of a residence and i was taken to jail.
I remained in maximum security for 6 mounths I demanded a jury trial and plead not guilty.By the way I had no theft charges on my record of any kind.my public pretender clayton sims would come visit me just to try to talk me in to pleading guilty till he was blue in the face. and did nothing to help me. then after sitting in max for 6 mounths where I was abused beaten and bruised by an officer that I told off becouse he refused to give me a cotex pad (officer Killgro)I decided I couldn't take much more.then shortly after I apeared befor judge Leslie Lewis and she screamed at me telling me if I still wanted to pursue my plans of a jury trial she would make sure i would sit in jail for 6 more mounths otherwise I could plead guilty and be released that day. I knew I was not guilty however once again out of fear of the officer in the jail and fear of the judge and my deep desire to be free I plead guilty. Hearing the horror stories from fellow imates about mrs.Lewis and her evil wrath helped me decide to do things judge Lewis's way. this was about five years ago do I have a leg to stand on as far as an apeal or repirations for what I've gone through ? or at least having the charge removed from my record ? any legal advice or comments I welcome. thanks for listening. In 2004 my 16 year old son was killed in an auto accident. He had a $10,000 trust from a dog attack 10 years earlier ( my son got $8,000 + interest while the lawyer got $12,000 and Lewis praised him for not taking more!!) I tried to get Lewis to release the trust so I could pay for his funeral. She made me go through probate because she said "he might have some out standing debts" - to my knowledge a 16 year old is not of legal age to sign a binding contract; however, he did not have any debts. When I talked to a clerk about this whole mess, he told me it was too bad it was Judge lewis as she was a b_ _ _ _!! and any other judge would have immediately signed it. In fact Lewis would not even talk to me or my wife; we had to go through her secretary and she was as useless as Lewis. I am proud to say I had a hand, small as it was, in getting her out of office.
Because of Lewis, I had to take out an emergency loan to pay for my sons funeral; fortunately, the ladies at P and S credit union were very sympathetic and helpful, I had my necessary loan in less than an hour. Good riddence to bad rubbish!!!
