Self-defender charged with gun violation
Here's an article on a homeowner who used a handgun to stop a burglar, and wound up charged with gun law violations. The article isn't the clearest, but seems to indicate an Ill. representative has introduced a bill to prevent gun law prosecutions arising out of self-defense use.

The Second Amendment means nothing outside of hunting.
Our forefathers gave us that right to fend off a military takeover in the U.S. - by either the left or the right.
Apparently, since most gun owners are far right they didn't see fit to fight the far right takeover so here we are. On the verge of martial law.
You'll imitate your German counterparts of 70 years ago. You'll allow them to take away any weapon that gives you parity with the military. You know you barely made a peep when the Brady Bill took away your assault rifles, which is what you'll need to effectively combat troops.
What a bunch of cowards, and what a sore disgrace you are to our forefathers who gave their blood for the likes of you.

Hmm...a nutbar wannbe cult leader comes a trolling. Yawn. He knows as little about the second amendment as he does about the history of the federal assault weapon ban.
For you information, oh great nutbar, the federal assault weapon ban was part of the 1994 'Crime bill', not the 1993 'Brady bill'. One other thing, oh great nutbar, the gun owners you belittle reacted to the federal assault weapon ban by helping to kick the Democrats out of office nationwide in the 1994 elections.
I think that article is a year or so old. Didn't the law pass?
