Brady Campaign survey

Posted by David Hardy · 3 April 2006 10:10 PM

Pretty funny... go to the Brady Campaign's latest online survey, and click in whatever answers you want.

On the next page, click on the hypertext for see how other viewers answered the questions. On the next page, note that 77% gave "other" for what is of most concern to them, then click on the link for "view all responses," and go down to, oh, late March.

I ran across that a few days ago and had my say. This may seem like an annoying, juvenile prank to a lot of people, but I think it can serve a useful purpose.

It can act as a wake up call to these people that there are a lot more of us then there are of them, we're better organized, and more willing to stand up for our cause. I've never believed there is a serious grass roots movement for gun control in this country. I've certainly met my fair share of anti-gun folks, but when it comes to actually doing something about it, they aren't generally willing to move beyond lip service. Keep in mind I live 10 miles from New Jersey, also.

The only reason groups like the Brady Center have any relevance at all is because they have a willing mouthpiece in the media, support from vapid rich hollywood types, and are convienent cover for meddling politicians who want a mouthpiece for their agenda without having to go on record saying it themselves.

looks like they are pruning the list. no entries from 3/30 thru 4/3 I'm pretty sure I entered stuff in that period that they didn't ;ike and I can't find it.

I like this one:
'The artificially inflated cost of select fire assult rifles, due to unconstitutional laws.'

Speak it, brother!

Whats really telling, is, the fact that out of a handful of dumb bleeding-heart type answers, the reaults are overwhelmingly "other". I recommend a look.
