Another dumb crook story

A gunsmith notices that the guy who brought in guns for repair is wearing one of those house arrest ankle monitors...

[UPDATE in light of comment -- I'd agree that whoever was supposed to be monitoring the guy's ankle monitor oughta be in hot water! Technology is only as good as the humans operating it.]

Hey, don't be so hard on the felon. He was at least trying to get his illegal guns fixed to make them operational, which shows some some capability for rational thought.

In the Department of No Rational Thought At All, place the Parole Division, or the Sheriff, who put the bracelet on the guy and then couldn't monitor it.

THEY'RE the ones who will get you killed.
