Citizens apprehend bank robber
In Lexington, KY, police responded to a bank robbery to find that two citizens were holding the robber at gunpoint.
An "oops" moment. I googled the arrestee's name, "Daniel L. Stines," and came up with this. If that's him, and it's the same name and town but can't be sure, he's gonna have to resign as master of Masonic Lodge 930....
{Update: yep, I meant "oops" in terms of -- if you're a young crackhead, having citizens grab you for bank robbery and hold you for the cops is an occupational hazard. It's quite another thing when you're 60 yrs old and something of a pillar of the local community....]

What the heck is with assuming someone is a crackhead. Daniel Stines is not I repeat not a crackhead. He is a loving, caring family man. Since you jumped to that conclusion I will have to jump to the conclusion that you are a crackhead for posting things that are not correct. You should know the hole story before posting something.
What's "oops" about it? Working as designed, as far as I can tell: good guys (tm) intervene and stop the crime; cops show up and handle the paperwork and actual incarceration.
Or do you mean that it was dumb for the criminal to do what he did?
