Posted by David Hardy · 8 October 2008 05:44 PM

I'd guess it might be a certain endorsement. I'm just glad I don't have to make this schedule -- four cities, from the east coast to Nevada, in a single day. Details in extended entry below.

[parody]

In a shocking move, the NRA endorsed Barack Obama for president in 2008.

"Barack understands that guns are a right", said NRA president Wayne La Pierre, after taking a long, furtive tug on a hip flask.

NRA political director Chris Cox added, "{bleep} it. There's no further point in further delaying the collapse of western civ, so let's get the inevitable conflagration rolling."

I came home early to watch Katie Couric, but she didn't say anything about the announcement. Did they make it?
