I voted for 19. I don't know why R. Lee Emrey was not endorsed by either the NRA or Soldier of Fortune Magazine. I voted for him. He is not diplomatic. He will not hesitate to tell someone to go F.O.

Well, now, that's just what we need as Board members: People who'll tell others "to go F.O." NRA Board of Directors is a political body. Getting anything passed requires votes and support. You don't make friends and influence people be telling them to "go F.O." when there is disagreement about how to accomplish a goal.

The Fudds on the BoD who are willing to sell out ugly black rifles as long as their pretty shotguns are protected need to be told very forcefully to F.O.

Noname, your thinking is what has (incorrectly) gotten the NRA th reputation of being sellouts only concerned with maintaining the donation gravy train.

There is a time for diplomacy, but there is never a time for appeasement. For too long the progressives and communitarians have slyly convinced people that we have to "compromise".

When they "compromise" they expect us to accept their position. No more.

We have lost our freedom. We sold it for a mess of pottage and empty promises. No more.

I swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. I've read that document. It is written in plain English. It isn't "living". It isn't supposed to be "interpreted" according to fashion and the latest poll. No more.

We gave up rights in 1934 and 35. And in 1968 and 1986 (we gained and lost then). No more "sensible gun laws". No more "reasonable restrictions". No more Sullivan Act. No more "may issue" CCW. No more blame the inanimate object and not the criminal or madman wielding it. No more.

R. Lee Emery is definitely one of my choices along with a few others who are/were actors - it bugs the Hollywood crowd and besides they are good people.
