local media on Mexican gun problems

From the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ)
http://www.spj.org/ethicscode.asp, the first tenet says:

"Test the accuracy of information from all sources and exercise care to avoid inadvertent error. Deliberate distortion is never permissible."

Clearly a FAIL.

From reading the comments on that website would appear the author of the piece has created a whole new fan club for himself.
