Assault charges for squirting fox urine on trespassers

Posted by David Hardy · 15 December 2008 10:32 AM

Homeowner learns kids are going to TP his house, loads a squirt gun with fox urine, squirts them and is charged with assault. Snowflakes in Hell has the story.

You'd have thought they'd regard it as one prank deserves another. The hardest part, I'm sure, was forcing the fox to urinate in the squirt gun (grin).

One question...where does one obtain fox urine...and a follow-up...Why would one go to the trouble of obtaining fox urine?

Wouldn't any 1970's vintage father's day bottle of Hai Karate suffice at being disgusting and marking the perpetrators for later identification?

Weird is as weird does...as my Momma used ta say.

It's used as a cover scent for deer hunting. It's pretty readily available.

Fox urine is also used as a pest repellent by gardeners and homeowners. It comes freeze dried in a shaker bottle and I keep some in my shed - I haven't had a skunk spray my dog in years, and it keeps the rabbits from eating my petunias! Just shake around the perimeter of your yard and the pests think that a predator fox lives in the area - so they stay away.
