Counterattack on Idaho hold on Sullivan confirmation

Posted by David Hardy · 13 December 2007 11:14 PM

As I mentioned earlier, the Idaho senators put a "hold" on confirming Michael Sullivan as head of ATFE. Now, John Kerry is asking them to release the hold. And a New York Times editorial takes the same stance.

Cry me a river. I wonder how many times Kerry and the other Congressional clowns have put indefinite holds on judicial nominations.

After all the vitriol over Sen. Larry Craig's secretive (and possibly blackmail-able) personal habits, I suddenly find him doing things like this.

At least he knows how to step on toes to help his constituents.

In the bigger picture, this particular case went under the radar for most of the nation. But certain portions of the blogosphere knew about it, and they managed to get the word out.
