Very disappointing!

Mr. Williams need to spend some time at the range doing close combat shooting.

Interesting. The story makes this out to be a shooting over a pickup truck.

It notes in the second sentence that the pickup driver, Mr. Williams, was armed.

And a couple sentences later, that Mr. Williams shot one of the carjackers.

And, in fact, Mr Williams turned over his keys.

Not until the NINTH paragraph do we find "Then one of the robbers shot at Williams."

Mr. Williams did not shoot to prevent a carjacking -- that was already over with. He fired to save his butt. And good on him.

What is it all the nannies say? Oh yeah, "Give them what they want and avoid bloodshed." or some such crap.

Didn't seem to work this time. Mr. Williams waited too long to open fire, but I am glad it wasn't fatal for him.
