Interesting thing aboout this hearing: On Wednesday, it wasn't on the schedule. It was added late on Thursday, at about 4:30-ish.
Washington Ceasefire received an email announcing the hearing on Tuesday, approximately 50 hours before the public knew.
We've seen this kind of underhandedness before. It's not particularly surprising.
