Bill O'Reilly blithers on about guns

Posted by David Hardy · 24 July 2012 09:08 PM

See the video. He wants to register "heavy weapons." He starts to define that as mortars and howitzers, and upon being told those were already regulated, switches to semi-auto. Then he wants to deal with "heavy duty rounds." I couldn't stand to watch past that point.

Blither is exactly right. Bill O'Reilly has no idea what he's talking about. He's clueless and talking nonsense. On the other hand, Rep. Jason Chaffetz knows what he's talking about and is one of our better Congressmen.

That was the same point at which I had to turn it off. That interview should be saved and used as the perfect example of one of O'Reilly's favorite words: bloviating.

I was watching it too lol. Try to explain to New Yorkee Bill O'Reilly what the Naitional Firearms Act is. He is too much of an Irish Brawler to understand and he brutally showed his ignorance.

Oh yes indeed little billie show us his butt last night making it quite obvious he knows nothing about guns or the laws. If he has any sense at all he will find someone who can explain the info he needs rather than expose his lack of knowledge all over the world.

I watched it all the way through and feel dumber for doing so.

So Sad...

Why will the anti-gun crowd not take just a few minutes to inform themselves of the current law so as to not look like idiots?

I actually contacted my local newspaper after on exceptionally terrible article and offered my services to prof-read any firearms related stories and I never heard back from them.

Kudos to anyone who even thought of sitting through anything O'Reilly has to say.

The only thing that you can learn from Bill O'Reilly is how to talk dirty to a woman on the phone that is not your wife. ....He even failed at that.
