On Fox News tonight

Posted by David Hardy · 12 February 2011 05:39 PM

9 PM EST, Justice with Judge Jeanine. John Kaufmann and I discuss the Roger Barnett case, where we are defending a border rancher sued by illegal entrants. Some about guns, because the guy on the other side is an NYC attorney who thinks a Colt Sporter is an AK, and that when you're in a gully in the middle of the desert you need only dial 911 to get speedy police assistance. The nearest deputy may be 20-30 miles away, and all you can say of your position is that it's a gully somewhere west of Rt. 80.

Yeah, I was dog tired (up at 5:30 consistently, earlier that day finished and filed a major lawsuit, etc.), and also we had no control. The moderator could switch from one side to the other, so we couldn't be heard unless it was our turn (I was the one saying "you don't know what the border is like!," inaudible to all save the moderator. Arizona is, like the majority of States, a "no retreat required" State, he got that wrong, and we cornered him on his claim that illegal entry is a criminal offense. I was surprised he didn't know that, but his webpage says he does high profile immigration cases, which may mean he's never bumped into that.

Caught only the tail end. That immigration attorney is a ... real piece of work.

Immigration attorney said AK47, several times....didn't hear you guys correcting him? That was the second time I've heard the guys attorney (name?) talk and I'm not impressed....David, I really think you should have taken the lead on the interview.

I didn't get a chance to watch it. Anyone got a link on the web?

I happened across the show and the NYC attorney was totally stupid. How can he ever think that he is correct? He just sounded like all of the open border people. I was just hoping that someone would have asked him, "You don't really know what you are talking about do you?" You did great.

Is this online somewhere?
