Washington DC is famous for...
Here's a Google map of the US, showing the leading Google search strings relating to each State or other jurisdiction. For Texas, it's "Rangers." For Oregon, it's "Trail." For Kansas, "CIty Chiefs."

One could argue that "Washington Post" should be tied to DC instead of Washington state.

That is too funny - I did not even see the times part until you mentioned it. I know I have dismissed the Times as basically useless (Though occasionally they have good recipes) but I did not realize that my mind would blank it out :)
