New record sniper shot

Posted by David Hardy · 3 May 2010 07:31 PM

A British sniper in Afghanistan has scored two one-shot kills at 1.54 miles, on a pair of Taliban machinegunners. (The reference in the article to an 8.59 mm bullet is actually a reference to the .338 Lapua Magnum version of the British L115A1 rifle.

In one report I read, he then took out the machine gun, so that makes three (3) record shots in a matter of minutes.

"The previous record was held by Corporal Rob Furlong, of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, who was using a 12.7mm McMillan TAC-50 rifle. "

"Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry"?

Friggin Canadians.....sounds like something out of a Narnia book...

Of course, you know he can probably never return home. As soon as England's violent criminal muslim population get all ginned up to cause all sorts of mayhem and England's 'ginas in charge of government cave in this man will need to find sanctuary somewhere else in the world.

He can come over here anytime. We'd love to have him!
