Minor violation. He just got the definitions of 'make' and 'practice' confused.

Who needs to lie anymore, you can't make this stuff up. What a crazy world.

Barratry Sec. 38.12. ?? Doesn't appear to be applicable under Texas Penal Code.

Probably - Sec. 38.122. FALSELY HOLDING ONESELF OUT AS A LAWYER

Wouldn't hurt if both reporters as well as DA office personnel would bother to read the law before they go on record.

Just an old peace officer's worthless opinion.
