Oldest man, WWI vet, dies
RIP Henry Allingham, at age 113. Last survivor of the Battle of Jutland (naval, 1916), saw service at Ypres (land, 1917), had 14 great-great-great grandchildren.
When he was born --
Victoria was queen;
Winston Churchill a 20ish fellow who'd never held office;
Grover Cleveland was president of the US.
He attributed his longevity to "cigarettes, whisky and wild, wild women."
Comments
And apparently all of his offspring now reside in the United States, where I hope they are all gunowners and members of the NRA and GOA.

He was married for 52 years, until the death of his wife. In 1970.

I'm beginning to think they just don't make 'em like they used to.
