Georgia Carry adopts highway, gets good press

Posted by David Hardy · 9 March 2009 07:07 PM

Story here.

Comments

I am a GCO member and carry my firearm openly on a daily basis. I take responsibility for my safety, and the safety of my family. While the police do their best to protect the citizens of our state as a whole, they have no individual duty or responsibility to protect me.

GCO fights daily to protect the Second Amendment Rights of Georgia citizens right to own and bear arms. I am proud to be a member of an organization that has taken it upon itself to protect and further my rights.

I invite anyone that wants to learn more about their 2A Rights and/or wishes to learn more about what they can do to protect themselves, to visit georgiacarry.org.

As the GCO County Coordinator, I think this is one of the best ideas that have been brought forth to get our message out to the public. If you read the comments at the bottom of the story, you will find some "anti" comments, but the pro comments are much more numerous. Many people seem very happy to see us exercising our rights. Just what we want people to do!

We also plan to invite the photographer and the reporter to our first pickup on the anniversary of Paul Revere's ride! Hopefully we can get a little more good publicity for the hometown people!

Thanks "Of Arms and the Law" for posting this story and helping get our word out!

GCO is a terrific organization that I am very proud to be a member!

See some of my fellow GCO folks have posted here already. We are very happy about the adopt a highway program. Like stated above,it is good publicity for the group and gets the name out there.

Thanks for posted this by the way.
