Update on Steve Halbrook book bomb

Posted by David Hardy · 15 December 2008 11:56 AM

Just spoke to the folks at Independent Institution. Steve's book is up to No. 327. I reported that Amazon sold out, and they said a resupply is being shipped today, and should be available to fill orders within a couple of days.

Already up a little more to 301 - a jump of almost 200 since I looked late morning.

I also see in the listing that it's number 1 in Constitutional Law.

I ordered from Amazon before 7am central this morning, and they were still in stock at that time.

I bought a copy at barns and noble at 1400 EST. It appears to be in stock, but they say it will ship on the 18th?

As long as it counts toward the bomb.

I've ordered from Amazon at 2:30 PM today. It was out of stock but will be shipped when it is restocked.

It's now at 161.

I'm not sure what timezone Amazon uses, but it is at 140 at 11:35 MST.

Decided to go ahead and buy one of these myself.

Some other Amazon rankings:

Amazon.com Sales Rank: #139 in Books
#1 in Books > History > United States > Revolution & Founding
#1 in Books > Nonfiction > Government > Constitutions
#1 in Books > Nonfiction > Current Events > Civil Rights & Liberties

Received notification from Amazon that shipment will be delayed ... deliverty estimated 21 Jan - 3 Feb.

When I ordered, it was to ship within the week. Perhaps this is testament to the success of the bomb.
