Ooops...

Posted by David Hardy · 10 March 2008 02:11 PM

NY Governor Elliot Spitzer is caught on a wiretap making an appointment with a prostitution ring.

Of course he might only have been looking for advice on politics... but he'd better get used to sleeping on the couch for a time.

UPDATE: Discovering that the exclusive international ring of prostitutes known as the "Emperor's Club" charged up to $5,500 an hour for their services, New York governor Eliot Spitzer vowed to put an end to this price gouging practice..

Governor Elliot Spitzer? I though they said his name was John! I wonder if Bloomberg was part of the sting or is he on the list?

I saw Elliot 'the john' Spitzer at the mea culpa news conference with his wife and daughters(?).

I wonder what Mayor 'take your guns' Bloomberg has to say.

"Day 1 - Everything changes" - HA HA HA HA

Must be the vast right wing conspiracy.

News sources are now reporting that Spitzer is almost certain to resign.

Some information regarding Eliot Spitzer on gun control (6 years ago, then as New York Attorney General):

The feds care only because the service provider traveled across state lines from New York to meet with him in D.C.

Of course, he should get off. Surely he was only investigating the working conditions of NY professionals.

Elliot 'the john' Spritzer doesn't understand 'gun' control.

If he did he wouldn't need to apologize, resign, nor sleep on the couch.

LOL

Amazing, at last a New York Times article that just opens up without wanting you to register and log in. How come none of these sordid politicians don't just call a news conference and say eff you all, I'm staying to the end of my term in office then drawing my full retirement. A lot of these dirty birds draw fat retirement checks even while serving prison time.

Elliot spitz in faces of wife and New York citizens.

Will he be required to register as a sex offender?

Just read an article that the Feds initially started investigating because Spitzer was making suspicious banking transactions, they initially thought he might be trying to hide bribes.

The 'curse of the gunnies' strikes again. And it couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.

Good riddance, and I hope the door of the Governor's mansion hits him on the but_ on the way out...
