Comments
Although having these cases dismissed is a relief, this will not be the end of the matter. As a former OSHA employee and industrial hygiene consultant, I have much personal experience with the OSHA Lead Standard. It is one of the agencies most onerous standards and virtually impossible to comply with. The allowable air concentration, or Permissble Exposure Limit, is a mere 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air. There are ancillary requirements including medical monitoring, respiratory protection, employee training, medical protection removal benefits, ventilation, personal hygiene, posting, recordkeeping and employee notifications. The anti-rights crowd, unable to ban guns directly, will seek the same end by construing every discharge of a firearm as the intentional release of a hazardous substance into the environment. Forewarned is forearmed.

There's a bunch of priceless comments there. I stole the following:
"Watch out, next thing they will do is buy memberships to your shooting range and vote you down the river. Screen your memberships carefully before you accept anyone. It happened to us. We lost a 100+ acre multiple use shooting range."
Something to consider.

Query: How much have the lawsuits cost the range operators?
