An interesting call for on-campus CCW

Posted by David Hardy · 28 February 2008 09:05 AM

"Stop Or I'll Toot Is Not Safe for Women". Someone is raping women on the Univ. of Nevada/Reno campus, so university police are passing out "rape whistles."

Hat tip to reader Jack Anderson...

Parties that are injured as a result of prohibitions on concealed carry on campus or otherwise, need to bring actions against those responsible for the bans. If guns are banned, the argument should be made that the university or mall is therefore responsible for providing a safe environment.

If the authorities are to ban firearms and other effective means for a woman to avoid rape on their premises, are they not duty bound to confiscate any penises that attempt entry to their property? If not, why not?

Therein will lie the answer to why they are wrong and do not value human life, nor do they respect women's right to choose sex partners. Although rape is less about sex than it is about degradation of the helpless by the relatively powerful. One must ask why the university prefers the rapists to have the overwhelming power.

Most men place a higher value on women, what could be wrong with University of Nevada men? Do they not like women? Or do they just like the idea of rape?

Something about that whistle thing just seems out of tune.

'university police are passing out "rape whistles.'"

I expect the police to trade in their guns for whistles.
