Story here.

"Fulbright allegedly held the tip of a butcher knife in her ex-boyfriend's ear, bit his ears, hands and forearm, and pointed a pistol at him while they were in her apartment...

A search warrant return shows that police recovered the man's briefcase, cell phone....

Police also seized a butcher knife, blue plastic gloves, diamond earrings and assorted other items, including the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People.""

Renee Schafer Horton needs a dictionary and a better editor:

"'We have reason to believe they have international ties, Pacheco, although he declined to innumerate the reason."

- Close the quote
- Pacheco *said*?
- innumerate? Innumerate means "marked by an ignorance of mathematics and the scientific approach." Methinks she meant "enumerate" - which still would not be an appropriate word as used in that sentence. Enumerate means to list one by one. You enumerate "the reason" - you could enumerate several reasons.

OK, so I'm picking nits - but journalists generally bug me.
