Debate in New Jersey

Posted by David Hardy · 10 October 2007 09:43 AM

Blogger (and NRA Director) Scott Bach has postings criticizing New Jersey officials' claims that their rising homicide rate must be due to the less restrictive laws of nearby Pennsylvania.

In response, the head of CeaseFire New Jersey posted this, claiming that NJ criminals can hire straw men to buy in bulk in PA.

Scott in turn responded here.

Looks like a nice debate starting -- you might want to weigh in on the comments.

Scott Bach and Bryan Miller squared off in a televised debate in 2004. Bach p0wnd Miller.

Here's my report on the event:

The word I got was that Miller ~refused~ to shake Bach's hand after it was all over.

Sadly, the Peoples Republik of new jersey has a lot of good people but unfortunately far too many totally uninformed soft headed people that both trust and depend upon the government for all of their needs. Their opinion is that personal responsibility is no longer valid. They view those of us that believe in personal responsibility for our lives and well being as being kooks.
Just some of the reason I fled nj 7 years ago to Florida. At least in Florida, I can defend myself legally and own whatever firearm I choose.

The elites' like Bloomburg want to tie us down fighting crime unarmed so its really important to win this one. You can't reason with the anti's. And you can't reason with a rabid dog.

I think I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I was born there, I lived there for the first 35 years of my life, then I moved to Virginia. It is better in Virginia. I will never live in NJ again, as far as I'm concerned.
