Another "this is really pitiful" moment

Worse than most. Two Philadelphia city councilmen sue the state over gun laws, because it has shown "blatant disregard and disrespect for Philadelphia and its residents.".

That must come under the "it's just not fair" provision of constitutional law.

Update: as expected, it's a cheesy publicity stunt.

This bit in the article got me:

But if the Council members can show the court new evidence, such as New York City's progress against crime over the last decade with its own, stricter gun laws, there may be a chance, Kairys said.

What laws were established right before the drop started? Seems that there were several thousand more police added along w/ enforcing all the laws.


But the truth doesn't matter.
