A Double barrelled bolt action rifle?

Posted by David Hardy · 27 June 2007 12:22 PM

Video here. I guess it's for hunters of dangerous game who (1) like the reliability of a double, but (2) wish it had the 3+ firepower of a bolt. Or else it's just German gun designers who like things REALLY complicated.

Hat tip to David McCleary...

My googlefu is weak today. Any more info on that neat toy? Is it a production item or a custom?

I saw one of these at the big Tulsa gun show. It is big and bulky looking. Didn't get a chance to pick it up, but it sure looked heavy. Thank goodness for gun bearers, I reckon. They cost about as much as a nice house.
