Page on Rebecca Peters of UN

Bruce Mills tipped me to an interesting webpage on Rebecca Peters, the person pushing gun control at the UN.

Among other interest data is the fact that she's been bankrolled by George Soros.

I thought RP's Soros backing was common knowledge.

Ummmm....why doesn't this surprise me? Do you suppose we could get Vladimir Putin interested in Soros again, professionally, as we once was?

Rebecca Peters is exactly what Australia's shooting representatives are not: a perfect representative of the values of the 'cosmopolitan class', down to the moralising emotionalism by which they display their superiority to the rest of us.

She very effectively capitalised on the deaths at Port Arthur, but really was just one of the pack behind PM John Howard not the prime instigator herself.

The package of proposals that became the stealback was already waiting on the shelf when she came to Australia. It was created by the National Committee on Violence of 1988-1990, itself a response to earlier massacres.
