Settlement in NYC case?
Brady Campaign is announcing a "groundbreak settlement" in some of the NYC suits against dealers, but not saying what the settlement was. Seems a bit peculiar.

In a surprisingly swift victory for Mayor Bloomberg, two Georgia gun dealers have agreed to let the city appoint a monitor to oversee their operations in order to escape a federal lawsuit, it was announced yesterday.
[snip]
The special monitor - paid for by the city - would have the right to audit sales and inventory at any time at the two stores, A-1 Jewelry & Pawn Inc. of Augusta and AAA Gun & Pawn Brokers of Hephzibah.
They also agreed to install video cameras and hire undercover agents to test their compliance with the law if ordered to do so by the monitor.
Fines would range from $1,000 for the first offense to $5,000 for the third. The monitor would leave if there were no violations for three years.
