Pretty interesting story. Not sure I'd recommend it for self-defense, but it's still better than a rock.

Bet me money it wasn't a druggie wanting to "borrow" some money for a fix. I would advise thinking long and hard before exposing your family to a homeless and/or ex felon to "help" him out by hiring his help around the house. Thats why they have professional organizations that run half way houses. My .02ยข worth!
