Scotland and knife crime
From the BBC:
"People caught carrying a knife face arrest and custody until appearing in court, under new guidelines being issued by Scotland's top prosecutor.
.....
Mr Boyd said more than half of all murders were committed with a knife."

Yes, knife crime is absolutely exploding in Scotland - now that they've made merely having a knife a crime.

I had a knife taken off me by the police in Aberdeen, the fact i was a merchant seaman, and i was working on a ship, didnt make a difference, what do they expect me to do, bite through the rigging with my teeth
this knife ban is a load of nonsence, and amnesties on knifes are rediculous, how can you have an amnesty on something that you can legaly buy, a knife is a very important tool, and you cant ban everything that can be used to murder someone, that would take a serious amount of banning.
