I own 2 of these guns 1 20 gauge that I bought new when i was 12 years old now 48 and a 12 gauge I aquired 12 years ago. These are the only guns I will hunt with and I think are the best made. would not part with for no amount of money. They will be passed down to my only son.

I have a shotgun left by my grandfather. It was made by Ithica. I also have the number on the gun. How can I find out when this gun was made? I've looked everywhere searching for "Ithica Gun Company" hoping I could find something about the guns made in the 1920's. I can find nothing. Please help if you can.

I have a single shot .22 Ithica which I purchased about 20 years ago. It looks like a Winchester carbine: lever action, two piece wood stock. I am trying to restore it. The buttplate is broken I am looking for a buttplate and for a manual or schematic drawing. Any ideas? Give me a shout.

I have been looking for a 20 and 12ga. model 37. I have 3 (16's), which I got from my grandpa, so I am looking for the same era. (1955-1963) I have been looking for some time, most of what I have found has been very very ruff. This great gun, will be hunted its not for the closet, I cant think of a better way to continue the legacy than to use it. Please include its hunting history.

This is ithica's new website, if you think their old guns were great, the new ones will BLOW YOU AWAY!!! They are made in the USA here in OHIO. Yes you read it right, they are made in America, by real Americans, The guys that work there are actually hunters and outdoorsmen too. The workmanship in these are even better than the originals. The Slug barels are free floated giving rifle like accuracy. The sight posts are milled into the barrels, so there is no welding, and no heat introduced to warp the barrels. The quality is just amazing.

Any help would be appreciated. I have had this gun for 36 years...and I don't want to ruin it... thanks again.

I sent an e-mail to Ithaca gun co. in 2002 requesting information about my Model 37 20 guage I bought back in 1947 when I was 13 years old. I requested the date of manufacture and they were kind enough to pass that back to me. The gun was built in the spring of 1946 and today it looks like new. Myself and my two sons spent many happy hours hunting with this great gun. Now the grand sons will be taking over.
